| Qualifying Rounds |

| The preliminary round will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Théâtre du Castel, 16 Place du Château, 16300 Barbezieux, France. |

| Each competitor must perform « les Variations sur un thème de Django Reinhardt de Léo Brouwer, Editions Musicales Transaltlantiques et Francis Day (trat 1743) » and a work of his/her choice. All this round must not exceed 12 minutes. |
 |
| At the end of this round, the names of the 20 candidates qualifying for the semi-final will be read out in alphabetical order. |

| Semi-Finals |
 |
| The semi-final will take place on Friday, November 13, 2009 at Théâtre du Castel, 16 Place du Château, 16300 Barbezieux, France. |

| Each competitor must perform « Sonata Eroica OP.150 de Mauro Giuliani, Edition Schott (GA53) », plus one piece by Léo Brouwer, plus one or several pieces of his/her choice. All this round must not exceed 20 minutes. |

| At the end of his round, the names of the 6 finalists will be read out in alphabetical order. |

| The Final |
 |
| The Final will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at The Logis de Plaisance, 16300 Barbezieux, France. |
 |
| Each competitor must perform « El salto de Tristan de Martin Ackerman, Editions Henry Lemoine (28059 H.L.), plus one piece by Léo Brouwer, plus one or several pieces of his/her choice. All this round must not exceed 30 minutes. |
